Rainin On-site Pipette Calibration Services now available on UC Berkley BearBuy Marketplace
Attention UC Berkeley Researchers
Now you can purchase Rainin's on-site pipette calibration services through the BearBuy Marketplace. Rainin will offer a monthly on-site calibration clinic. Simply purchase the number of basic calibration services that you plan to use at the next clinic. Print a copy of your order confirmation attachment and bring that copy to the next clinic along with your pipettes. Purchases are valid only for the next scheduled Rainin service clinic and expire 30 days from date of purchase.
Important things to know:
This on-site calibration service is good for all brands of pipettes including Rainin, Gilson, Eppendorf, Sartorius, Integra, VWR and ThermoFisher.
Three basic calibration services are available; for single, 8-channel and 12-channel pipettes. This basic on-site service does not offer a calibration certificate. If you require a calibration certificate please contact your local Rainin sales representative
How to order basic on-site calibration services:
Determine the number of pipettes you want to have calibrated at the upcoming on-site clinic, noting the number of single channel, 8-channel and 12-channel pipettes.
Log onto BearBuy and add the number of service plans for single, 8-channel and 12-channel pipettes you wish to calibrate at the upcoming clinic to your cart.
Checkout and provide your contact information.
After checkout, you will receive an order confirmation email with an attachment. Print out the order confirmation email attachment.
On the day of the next clinic, please bring your pipettes along with the printout of the order confirmation attachment to the clinic.

30520635 OS Clinic Basic Single; Valid 30 Days. Basic on-site pipette calibration service for single channel pipettes. Basic service includes full preventive maintenance, leak test, four test weighings at 10% and 100% and adjustments to Rainin on-site standard tolerances.
30520636 OS Clinic Basic Multi-8; Valid 30 Days. Basic on-site pipette calibration service for eight-channel multichannel pipettes. Basic service includes full preventive maintenance, leak test, four test weighings at 10% and 100% and adjustments to Rainin on-site standard tolerances.
30520637 OS Clinic Basic Multi-12; Valid 30 Days. Basic on-site pipette calibration service for twelve-channel multichannel pipettes. Basic service includes full preventive maintenance, leak test, four test weighings at 10% and 100% and adjustments to Rainin on-site standard tolerances.
Only the above listed service plans can be purchased through this BearBuy program. Other services can be scheduled by contacting your Rainin sales representative. Service plans purchased through BearBuy are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Rainin may, at its discretion, credit users for unused purchases.
